Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo
Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo is a Vietnamese martial art founded in 1938 by Grandmaster Nguyễn Lộc in Hanoi, Vietnam. The name combines “Võ” (martial arts) and “Việt Nam” (Vietnam), while “Việt Võ Đạo” means “the Vietnamese martial arts way.”
Philosophy
Vovinam is built on the principle of harmony between hard and soft (Cương Nhu Phối Triển), combining powerful strikes with fluid techniques. The art emphasizes both physical development and moral cultivation.
